Herring stewed in milk

Ingredients:

  • 200 g of herring
  • ½ cup of milk
  • ¼ onion
  • 15 g of butter
  • Spices

Preparation:

Clean the herring, arrange it in a mold, sprinkle with chopped onion, salt, pepper, and add a bay leaf. Top the arrangement with a pinch of butter and cover with milk. The order is stewed in the oven, covered with a lid, until the herrings are ready. Before serving, sprinkle with parsley or dill and serve with boiled potatoes
